The Mapúa University, through the initiatives of EMA Association Inc and facilitated by the Association of Geologists and Geological Engineers of MAPUA (AGGEM) invited Regional Director Noel B. Lacadin of MGB Region 3 to be a resource speaker in AGGEMTalks: Epithermal Gold Mining and Water Rehabilitation at the University’s Intramuros Campus on February 27, 2026.
Regional Director Lacadin of Geology class of ’84, returned to his alma mater to share MGB Region 3’s science-based and community-driven water solutions. His lecture emphasized practical, low-cost, and sustainable technologies supporting the government’s contribution to the Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program. Mr Deody Solee talked on Epithermal Gold Mining.
