After almost three months of anticipation, 25 members from 19 different batches of EMANS attended the first quarter get-together that was sponsored by Former DOE Usec Brod Mackoy Marcos. The gathering was held at a private residence within Ponderosa Leisure Farm of Silang Cavite on March 9, 2024.

Brods and sis who attended the get-together participated in a simple program which began with a short prayer by Sis Rona Lim. Brod Mackoy graciously welcomed and thanked everyone. He recalled that if there is one value, he learned from joining Emans is how to be humble which he shall forever treasure. He also reiterated his full support to the association.

Brod Nyong introduced the different batches. Despite apparent errors in the batches arising from the errors in the existing database or from inability of some batch members to recall their actual batch, there was fun in meeting the members of attending batches between 1969 to 1995. Brod Rolly Villamorel of batch 1995/A represents the youngest batch.

Brod Nyong also acknowledged the presence of FOMI and NAMA officials especially Sonny Sebial, the new FOMI president, Brod Mackoy Marcos, new trustee and Brod Nyong Lazo, PRO. Also present was Brod  Jojo Saret, another FOMI member.

Larry Bayrante, the incumbent president, updated everyone about the association’s 2024 activities and the proposed 2025 program. He announced that two new student members from Mapua were the latest members recruited by EMAA, Inc. In addition, he also thanked the support of all for their support to the programs of the association.
